"Maybe You Should"...top pick in the fan poll
In the online polls for the tracks of Taylor’s new album, The Distance, the beautiful “Maybe You Should” is top choice by a sizeable margin. It was also the top track pick by People Magazine which gave the album and overall 4 ˝ stars out of 5. "Maybe You Should" was written by Taylor Hicks, Gary Nicholson, and Michael Reid. It is the painful look at love after one “starts letting go.” “If you can leave here tonight, Baby, maybe you should.”

“Nineteen”~~At Roxy's in a tender moment on the set list, Taylor dedicated this moving song to our troops...
Taylor first dedicated "Do I Make You Proud" to our troops as he performed it on the American Idol tour.

Fans were inspired to join Taylor in honoring our troops. The Proud of our Troops drive sponsored by jewelrysprout.com was started in 2006 and continues to send Taylor's music to our troops around the world and at home. Soldiers' Angels partners with the drive to ship the CDs.

TTHC supports the "Proud of our Troops" drive. For more information about participating in this effort, visit: Proud of our Troops

"After all these years, 'Grease' still slides down easily."
"The Best of Broadway tour of the hit 1959-set musical, onstage at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Theatre, features “American Idol” winner Taylor Hicks as Teen Angel, pleasantly showcasing why he took top honors in the 2006 season of the blockbuster reality show.

"Crooning his sole number, “Beauty School Dropout,” and a little addendum at the end of the show, Hicks also seems to have found a nice vehicle to sell his new CD, signing autographs after performances." (Leslie Katz, Examiner)

"The current production is a spirited retelling of the story with some terrific cast members, including Hicks, who turns his fairly small role of "Teen Angel" into a wonderfully inventive bit of comedy.

"The actors playing the high school kids are quite delightful, particularly Allie Schulz as Rizzo, Kate Morgan Chadwick as Frenchy and Will Blum as Roger." (Pat Craig,Contra Costa Times)

"The Golden Gate Theatre opened the popular musical "Grease" last week with its own little twist. American Idol star Taylor Hicks plays the heavenly Teen Angel. Descending in a gigantic ice cream cone, Hicks had all the right moves for his solo number and seemed to relish the over-the-top character. In a nice add, Frenchy (the beauty school drop out to whom he is singing) turns at the end of the song and tells him, 'I voted for you.'"(Sally Hogarty, www.insidebayarea.com)           Complete Grease Tour Schedule
