Taylor Hicks was the first to sign up for Alabama’s Magic Moments, a statewide charity that grants the wishes of chronically ill children. He and some of the state’s biggest celebrities, including fellow Idol, Ruben Studdard, are lending their star power to grant wishes and enlist others to bring some real happiness to children at a time when they have little to smile about. The charity has granted about 3,700 wishes to children in all 67 counties in the state.
