"Nineteen," the story of a young American hero, will be released to Armed Forces Radio on Veterans Day. Taylor first performed "Nineteen" live in San Diego with men and women from the military in the audience. It was very well received by our soldiers. He dedicates this emotional song to the troops when he performs it in concert. "Nineteen" is from his album, The Distance, out on Modern Whomp Records.

“Killed in action the week before, the body of Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City, Georgia, just south of Atlanta, on June 11, 2009. The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough, Georgia. A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time." "Veteran's Day is a holiday to observe and pay our respects to military personnel, both past and present. As most of you are aware, Taylor is a big supporter of our troops, and will be running a special video campaign leading up to Veteran's Day." Honor our Veterans on 11.11.09

"Grease" creator, Jim Jacobs talks about Teen Angel... “Flash bulbs go off when Taylor comes onstage,” Jacobs said. “He’s very funny and he milks it for all it’s worth.” Warning: Do not indulge in the usual Kravis dash at the end of the show. “He also does one of his current hit songs on his new CD after the curtain call,” Jacobs added. Three blocks from the White House, The National Theatre in Washington, D.C. will host “Grease”! "The National Theatre opened in 1835. Every person who has served as President of the United States has attended performances here, earning the playhouse the revered title: "Theatre of Presidents. The National has presented first-class touring productions continuously longer than any other theatre in America."

The historic Boston Opera House, renovated and kept alive and busy by Clear Channel will host "Grease" for a two week run in 2010.
