“Nineteen” to be released to Armed Forces Radio...
Taylor announced during his show at Smith’s last week that “Nineteen,” the story of an American hero, will be released to the Armed Forces Radio this fall. As he has done in the past, he dedicated "Nineteen" to the troops.

Taylor visited Tampa Bay Weekend and talked about the "Southern blues and southern rock--the Eric Clapton feel" of The Distance and the icons he has worked with and been influenced by:

“Having a producer like Simon Climie who helped me to draw creativity in music out...all those people have a lot of knowledge and a lot of wisdom...I’m in a learning process, a curve and each record project is a learning curve.”

Taylor was asked if he is still awestruck by some of these people. "I am. Some of the people that I’ve been able to run into and shake their hands and meet—it’s amazing. I learn a lot from those people and 90 per cent of those people are into changing lives for the positive." (Tampa Bay Weekend interview)
