“Nineteen,” the story of an American hero, "trying to hold on to his American dream," will be released to the Armed Forces Radio this fall. Taylor first dedicated "Nineteen" to our troops in San Diego with men and women of the Armed Forces in the audience. He continues to remember our brave men and women who serve our country in the Armed Forces.

Taylor unexpectedly tweeted this week that www.taylorhicks.com was being revamped and coming soon was a new web property at http://taylorhicks.ning.com/ ”With the advent of new social networks sprouting up everywhere, we decided to brand the new taylorhicks.com as just that - a social network for Taylor Hicks fans.

"This site will serve as a one-stop shop for all things Taylor. From exclusive content, live Twitter updates, and a community based platform which allows you (the fans) to connect with one another, we are extremely excited and happy with the outcome. We hope you all contribute to this site's success. One-stop shopping in Taylor world

Orlando Media blitz...
Wednesday has become media day for Taylor and Grease. He made six stops in Orlando. It was also “Soul Patrol” shout out day!

At Mix 105.1 he talked about opening night on Broadway:
"I’ve never been so nervous as I was the first night on Broadway. It was more nerve racking than Idol."

He was asked, "[On Idol] Has it been hard to stay true to yourself?"
"Yeh, I may have been one of the first contestants to have really sunk their teeth into establishing an identity as an artist. For me, I was dug in like a tic—and still am." (Mix 105.1 Orlando)

WXXL:
How does it feel to have the Soul Patrol come out [to Grease] like that, the fans? "It’s pretty interesting. I’m very blessed."

"I did a tour in Southeast Asia and got off the plane in Djkarta and there was this huge Soul Patrol group and they had signs. I come from Alabama with a banjo and to go somewhere like Djkarta and have that--it's amazing. I know how hard it is to catch a break in the business." (WXXL Orlando)
