Proud of our Troops Drive

The Proud of Our Troops Drive started June 26, 2006. Part 1 of the drive ran for 21 weeks. 3157 "Do I Make You Proud" CDs by Taylor Hicks were sent to our men and women overseas! Part 2 of the drive ran for 27 weeks. 2751 "Taylor Hicks" CDs were sent to U.S. troops overseas, and also to soldiers recuperating in hospitals who were wounded in active duty. Part 3 of the drive ran for 14 weeks. 184 Heart Full of Soul books by Taylor Hicks were sent to the troops.

Instructions:

PLEASE SEE OUR SPECIAL PROJECT FOR PART 5 ABOVE

*You do not have to ship each CD seperately. You can put all the CD's in one box. The purpose of individual packing was so that each soldier received a note or letter with their gift. You can still do it that way if you choose, however it is not mandatory.

*If you would like to ship the CD's from an online store directly to Soldiers' Angels, that is fine too. Amazon.com and other sites have a free gift card option. Please utilize this feature so you can add a little note for the soldier who receives the book.

*Please do not send anything else besides "Taylor Hicks" CD's. Our drive is only for these CD's. We do not want to be responsible for anything sent that is illegal or that other countries might consider offensive material being shipped into their country.

*Please do not send autographed CD's. While it is a wonderful gesture, autographed CD's have a tendency to get stolen when overseas.

*You do not need to fill out a customs form, as Soldiers Angels is taking care of distribution to the troops.

I would like to say that I recieved your Care Package today (29 Sep 06) and would like to report that the 25th Infantry Division G6 Soldiers were very pleased with all the items that you sent. They especially wanted to say thanks for the Taylor Hicks CD. I have personally made sure that each Soldier received at least 2to 3 items each from this care package. Every one is truly please and forever in your debt. Care Packages sent to us in Iraq is truly a blessing, we are thankful and appreciate everything that we receive.
